I’m 16 and I haven’t had sex yet, is this normal?

Answer:

Despite what you might hear from your friends the average age for first time sex is 17, which means that even though some people have sex before they are 17, many others wait until they are older, even into their 20’s or 30’s.

You should wait until you feel ready and you are with someone you trust, having sex to try and fit in with your peers is not a good reason, your first time should be special with someone whom you trust.

Myth: I can’t get pregnant on my first time having sex
Truth:

This is not true, a woman can get pregnant at any time when there is an egg present to be fertilised by the man’s sperm.
